Spoons Toons & Booze is going to the movies! In the style of our Saturday morning-inspired shows, we’ll be revisiting some classic animated feature films from the 80s and 90s, many of which aren’t streaming and probably never will be! Whether you saw these gems in the theater as a kid, happened upon them at your local Blockbuster - or didn’t even know they existed - we promise a whole lot of unintentionally hilarious animated fun.

Now Playing: South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. The year: 1999. The Plot: The third graders of South Park sneak into an R-rated film by ultra-vulgar Canadian television personalities Terrance and Phillip and emerge with expanded vocabularies that leave their parents and teachers scandalized. When outraged Americans try to censor the film, the controversy becomes a call to war with Canada, and Terrance and Phillip end up on death row -- with only the kids left to save them. Come for (He he, they said come): The Academy Award-nominated musical numbers and the highest-grossing R-rated animated film of all time until 2016. Stay for: All 136 utterances of the word "f*ck!"

During the show:

  • Trivia and other contests! Prove your knowledge of all things animated and win tickets to upcoming virtual shows and Spoons Toons swag!

  • A play along Drinking Game! We’ll have a menu of moments to look out for in the film and invite you to take a sip or shot. Cheers!

  • Comedic commentary and more! Plus we’ll keep the chat open throughout the film so everyone can share their thoughts and joke about the movie together.
