Spoons Toons & Booze is going to the movies! In the style of our Saturday morning-inspired shows, we’ll be revisiting some classic animated feature films from the 80s and 90s, many of which aren’t streaming and probably never will be! Whether you saw these gems in the theater as a kid, happened upon them at your local Blockbuster - or didn’t even know they existed - we promise a whole lot of unintentionally hilarious animated fun.
Now Playing: X-Men: The Animated Series - “The Dark Phoenix Saga, Parts 1-4!” The year: 1994. The Plot: We’re once again stringing together 4 episodes from X-Men: The Animated series to create our own “movie” of the Dark Phoenix Saga! The X-Men must find a way to purge the Dark Phoenix, which has taken complete control over Jean Grey. Come to find out the fate of the Phoenix. Stay to get drunk off Jeangasms!
