For our next installment of TV Party Movie Night...we're celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in our own way...by watching the made-for-tv movie Murder She Wrote: The Celtic Riddle (2003)!
Our heroine Jessica Fletcher travels to Ireland to attend the will reading of her deceased friend Eamon Byrnes (Peter Donat, The X-Files). Eamon’s widow Margaret (Fionnula Flanagan, The Others) and his eldest daughter Fiona (Geraldine Hughes) are none too pleased to learn how he has bequeathed his assets, and are angered further when they discover his last wish is for his family and friends to take part in a riddle-laden treasure hunt that will lead them to one final heirloom. As so often happens when Jessica Fletcher is around, people start turning up dead, and our amateur detective finds herself trying to solve both Eamon’s riddle and the mystery of who is behind the mounting body count.
This movie serves as the series finale to the beloved detective series, but the night doesn't end with the movie - there will be a bonus screening of Murder, She Wrote! Come play some games, watch this bonkers movie, drink some drinks, and have some fun!
