After a bully beats up her brother and trashes his bike, teenager Billie Jean begins a neo-Joan of Arc-inspired mission for justice, catapulting her into local fame as teen icon, eventually starting a movement that will change her life forever. Starring Helen Slater (no relation to Christian - but he's also in the movie!) as the titular heroine, the movie touches on themes of power, self-identification, revenge, fairness...and the power of a totally badass haircut!
