It’s a Spooky Scary Double Feature night! We’re watching two classic Halloween flicks we watched when we were kids! The first film of the night is a certified banger; the second…we’ll go with “cult classic.” Plus: contests + our signature Drinking Game!
First up: Ernest Scared Stupid (1991). Despite the warnings of superstitious local Old Lady Hackmore (Eartha Kitt), Ernest P. Worrell (Jim Varney) accidentally unleashes a devious troll who changes some kids into wooden dolls and turns his dog, Rimshot, into a log. Ernest then teams up with Old Lady Hackmore to get rid of the beast and bring the victims back to life. It’s an Ernest movie; you know what you’re in for!
Next: Under Wraps (1997). Three children discover a 3,000-year-old mummy on Halloween but if they don't get him back to his resting place by midnight, he'll turn into dust and lose his only chance of being reunited with his long-lost love! This is the first Disney Channel Original Movie and stars Bill Fagerbakke (aka the voice of Patrick Star from SpongeBob!) as the clumsy and confused mummy the children name Harold.
