We're watching hands down one of the BEST musical films of all time: Prince's 1984 epic Purple Rain! The Kid (Prince) is a Minneapolis musician on the rise with his band, the Revolution, escaping a tumultuous home life through music. The Kid navigates the club scene and a rocky relationship with a captivating singer, Apollonia. And who could forget the Oscar-winning music? We'll have lyrics on the screen for all of the musical numbers!
Plus we’re bringing Purple Rain off the screen as audience members interact with the film a la “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” midnight screenings, with an interactive Drinking Game and Prince-inspired contests.
